Warehouse Clubs Sell Huge Bags of food. Ever wonder which foods actually save you
money? Meat is a big loser and canned Tomatoes are a big winner.
1. Flour - For around $6.00, you can purchase a 25lb bag of flour. This is about
the same price as in grocery stores, but I find it easier to purchase one bag instead
of 5 5lb bags usually found in the grocery store.
2. Sugar - White Sugar and Brown Sugar are sold at warehouse stores in large bags.
I rarely ever see sugar on sale at retail stores, so this is a good buy.
3. Baking Soda / Baking Powder - Unless you use Baking soda to clean, there is no
point buying this much for cooking.

4. Salt - No need to have this much salt.
5. Chocolate Chips - The Warehouse Club price for 72 ounces costs about the same
as 30 oz at the retail grocery store price. They freeze well! Grab a handful out
of the freezer when the kids, or you, have a chocolate craving and they will also
save you from buying candy bars.
6. Yeast -Because you refrigerate yeast after opening, this is a great buy. It saves
a lot of money versus buy those little packets at the grocery store.
7. Pancake Mix - This is my favorite. Krusteaz makes a 0 grams trans fat pancake
/waffle mix that makes 240 - 4" pancakes for about $6. The bag generally lasts about
24 - 30 months.
8 Brownie Mix - $7.50 is a lot to pay for 5 bags of brownie mix. Wait for retail
grocery store sales and you can buy a box of mix for $1. So, you are paying $2.50
more than you should. You can just as easily make brownies the old fashioned way
too.
9. Hot Cocoa - My kids will not drink dry milk, so this is a great substitute for
when you run out at home. Not only will it save you from wasting gas or driving during
inclement weather, but it is a storage food staple (see home storage). Not to mention
its a great comfort food! So buy them here, they're a great deal at wholesale clubs.
